IN STUDIO Modo

Modo hot yoga is a series of postures practiced in a heated room. The series works to stretch, strengthen and tone the muscles while detoxifying the body and calming the mind.
The standing series is a cardiovascular set of postures. The focus is on building strength, balance and endurance through hot yoga postures done from a standing position. Postures are held anywhere from 10 seconds to a minute, allowing the skin to sweat and detoxify the body.
The floor series works on strengthening the upper body, spine and abdominal muscles. Having thoroughly warmed the body in the standing series, we now begin to open the hips and spine. The floor series relieves tension, treats lower back and knee pain and improves posture. Final Savasana ends the class the way it began: lying flat on the back. The standing and floor series have warmed and opened the body, and now it is ready to relax. At the end of class students leave at their own pace, each with greatly reduced stress levels, a rejuvenated internal system and a little yoga twinkle in the eye (you'll see!).

Modo Calm was designed to relax the body and quiet the mind. Each class offers a unique and peaceful experience by combining elements of Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Breath-work and Meditation. You may be introduced to new postures and techniques, but this class remains accessible to all.

Modo Calm serves as a perfect compliment to our more rigorous classes: Modo, Modo Flow, Modo Freestyle and Modo Fit.

The Flow sequence is a challenging, healthy, hot yoga practice. The postures are linked with breath and downward-upward dog flow sequences. Modifications are available for both beginners and experienced students.

Modo Online Class

Modo yoga is a dynamic system of postures and breathing exercises specifically designed to be practiced in the heat. Moksha classes are intended to open, strengthen and detoxify the entire body. The traditional 40 posture series is done in a 90 minute class, though there are 60 & 75 minute condensed versions. Suitable for all levels.

Barre class is a combination of stretching and toning movements from Pilates and Yoga, the strengthening and sculpting principles of ballet, and a high-energy cardio workout with small isometric movements to target and tone every muscle in your body. This class is accessible for all levels and beginners are always welcome. Just grab your your yoga mat. We offer 60 minute classes and if your schedule allows, highly recommend pairing it with a Modo class to feel the most benefit of both worlds.
